‘Yoga’ – a word derived from Sanskrit language that means ‘to join’ or ‘to unite’, symbolizing the union of mind and the benevolent consciousness.
On the quest of providing easy access of practicing mindfulness and general awareness of mental well-being to the local community, IACC is proud to be co-hosting the International Yoga Day 2020 partnering up with multi-cultural groups nationally spread across the country.
International celebrations are occasions and a great opportunity to educate the community in general on issues of concern, to mobilize political will and resources to address global problems, and to celebrate and reinforce achievements of humanity. A cause also supported by the United Nations and is often marked on 21st June.
This event is a testament of IACC’s members and volunteers who believe and support Mental health well-being, overall community health and welfare index. IACC runs Yoga classes every weeknight from 6:15 PM – 7 PM and every Sunday morning from 8:45 AM to 10: 00 AM for refreshing mindfulness and yoga session. The Yoga sessions happen virtually on Zoom so you can practice mindfulness at your own comfortable and convenient space with fellow Yoga participants.
